Το Ορειχάλκινο Δισκοπότηρο

A chalice made of divine oreichalcum, smooth to touch, a plain, delicate structure, adorned only by the reflections one will see upon its surfaces, and yet more beautiful to see than any other goblet, such that one glance will give it a place in every dream and desire.
It is unknown how this artifact came to this world, for myths dictate that it was made before it, as a tribute to some god-king now forgotten. The Queens of Vyne regard the chalice as their own, claiming it to be a gift from their goddess, Queen Selere, the Lady of Life. The truth of this statement, however, is questionable, for the chalice has abandoned the Sevendom for more than a thousand years. It was said that the goblet had power over life and death. A lord was so willing to bring back his beloved wife that he decided to trade all his progeny to the Queens of Vyne in exchange for the chalice. The pact was made, the and the chalice was given away. With the otherworldly goblet, the lord was able to give life back to the body of his beloved. But some curse or unspoken betrayal begun to madden the lord. In his deep sorrow he descended deep under the highest mountain of the world and dropped the goblet deep into the fiery heart of the earth.
